Bichectomy
What is bichectomy?
The Bichat fat pad, is an anatomic structure described and popularized in 1802 by Marie François Xavier Bichat, as a fatty ball which exists in the region of the cheeks.
The bichectomy consists in a surgery where those pads are removed through one small intra oral incisions. This procedure thins the face of the patient (especially on the zygomatic area) making the face more sculpted and beautiful.
